2016 Tucson supplied with seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission has a a program defect that can pause acceleration from a stop for as long as two seconds.

Hyundai spied the difficulty in June after collecting an unspecified amount of “car will not move” documents from consumers, during which car would rev in neutral without acting first gear. When this happens, the vehicle will not speed at all if the gas ride is repeatedly touched , but Hyundai says that if steadily touched for “1.5 to 2 seconds,” the clutch will consequence up and acceleration will continue.

While obviously hazardous, there have been no informed mishaps from this difficulty.
