Ford Faulty Door Latches, Recalls More Than 2 Million Cars
Ford making fourth major recall since 2015, this time its due to faulty door latches and will be calling back nearly 2,046,297 U.S. cars.
Ford claims to found one accident occurred and three got injured due door latches defect, pawl spring tabs in the interior door latch pulls can break, which means the door may not be secured even if it seems to be closed.

Earlier we've recalling Focus in 2012-2015, Escape and C-Max in 2013-2015, Transit Connect 2014-2015. Overall count of previous three recalls is around 6,51,329 cars having different faults, bringing overall recall to 2,687,626, which includes Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Taurus Police Interceptor 2010-2013, 2011-2014 Fiesta, 2013-2014 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ.

Owners will be notified in October and dealers will replace all four latches.
