2017 Porsche Macan GTS

2017 Porsche Macan GTS
We might feel 360 hp will not be enough but Porsche like brand, but 2017 Porsche Macan GTS is able to provide driving pleasure apart from best speed, standard includes a stiffer rear anti roll bar, electronically adaptive dampers, larger front brakes, air spring suspension, torque vectoring system ($1490) to local rear rear differential, brakes to rear wheel while cornering. 2017 Porsche Macan comes with 3 liter twin turbocharged six cylinder to produce 360 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 1650 rpm paired with seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

Macan GTS remains more composed and planted on twisting roads with minimal body roll while cornering, satisfactory response received from steering wheel, brake pedal and throttle to every input. Lowering down suspension do not think you're driving 4500 pound vehicle.
Drive remains serene in Sport and Sport Plus modes with no harshness felt due to tall tires around 20 inch wheels. Shifts remains impeccable even at lower speed and with light throttle mainly due to dual clutch makes impression.

Macan GTS clocks 4.4 seconds to touch 60 mph from standstill, a second quicker than BMW X3 and Jaguar F-Pace and 0.2 seconds slow over Macan Turbo with 400 hp. Braking consumes 157 feet to stop from 70 mph is inline with expectation. Interior with black leather and brushed metal trim, central touchscreen is very much responsive, rear seat with less head and leg room, small window, dark upholstery, 18 cubic feet of cargo.

Need to pay more for navigation system($1730), blind spot monitor($690), lane keep assist($690), adaptive cruise control($1440). Macan has been drivers choice with GTS providing more driving dynamics but this will not be a hottest hatch company produced.
