BMW comes up with power using water and fuel injection along with twin turbo six cylinder in their M4 GTS. Boosted engine will get cooled down using water injection. Compressed air reach over 212 degrees when passing through air filter to turbo to cylinder head to air to liquid intercooler. Using water injection heat can be cut between 77 to 140 degrees. Lowering intake degrees can prevent engine knocking and allows turbo to boost horsepower. Emissions from combustion chamber do not get change with addition water vapor as nothing gets combusted in distilled water, with dry water tank engine reverts to produce 444 hp instead 493 hp. Water injection remains active above 5000 rpm and needs to have full load. Water lines gets drained when engine shuts down.
M4 GTS comes with strut brace, driveshat, rear wing, brake robots, carbon fiber hood, lighweight interior, reduced weight, front splitters are standard. 22 pounds added due to water injection system. U.S. GTS is to have orange paint, won't have ultra lightweight cargon fiber seats, but will have ligher normal sport seat having manual adjustments, this will reach to 3550 pounds same as regular M4 having dual clutch automatic transmission. Micheline Pilot Sport Cup2 tires used with different radius in front and back, helps in producing torque punch. Electronic controlled limited slip differential at back, rear subframe with a multilink suspension, struts in front, remains three way adjustable dampers along with adjustable spring.
With extra grip and more power, it is expected to consume 3.4 seconds to reach 60 mph, with twin turbo six cylinder produces 493 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. On a racetrack GTS is quicker than Ferrari 458 Italia. Cup 2s provide better feedback to M4 steering.
